Dr. Jacob LoTurco, DC
Dr. Jake grew up in Hilton, NY, and was a 2003 graduate of Hilton Central High School where he participated in the Hilton Cadets Baseball program and was an Academic All-American. In 2003, he attended Genesee Community College and received honors on the Dean’s List for outstanding achievement as a scholar athlete. He then enrolled in the pre chiropractic program at MCC and transferred to SUNY Brockport and enrolled in the exercise physiology program where he was nominated for Student of the Year, and eventually earned a B.S. in exercise physiology. While attending SUNY Brockport, Dr. Jake took up power lifting and earned a National certification in Personal Training which he continues to maintain today. Upon graduation he attended New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Since graduation, Dr. Jake has completed additional coursework in a variety of different therapy methods. He is a certified Kinesiotape provider and a Metagenics nutraceuticals provider.
Dr. Mark VanOtterloo, DAOM
Dr. VanOtterloo strives to practice the best natural medicine. He does this by empowering his patients to take initiative and to be proactive about their health. He provides strategies to enhance and to increase the longevity of treatments. Lastly, he looks at the imbalances of the body in order to find the root of the issue, not to just mitigate symptoms.
The Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is a 2 year program. It includes 360 credit hours, a requirement of an established acupuncture clinic, and a published academic journal article. As well as 2 externships in prominent clinical settings, which he completed overseas in China and Taiwan.
The Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine program requires at least 2,850 hours of education including 615 hours of clinical acupuncture practice and over 180 hours of herbal medicine practice.
Colby Mink, LMT
Colby grew up in Dickinson North Dakota, he graduated from Dickinson High School. Following high school, he went to University of Mary and then onto the Colorado School of Healing Arts where he specialized in Deep Tissue , Sports, Swedish Relaxation, Trigger Points and Chair Massage. Colby will provide a therapeutic massage in a serene environment where the client can wind down into a deep relaxation mode. Colby believes that the massage should be client centered, focusing on overall health and well-being.
