What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting (AKA – Cryolipolysis) offers fast, safe, non-surgical fat loss with little to no downtime. By freezing trouble areas, you will see full results within approximately 3 weeks.

Between 4-8 weeks, you can sculpt the same area again, and you can sculpt three to four areas per session. You can sculpt other areas not previously done in two weeks.

During your treatment, your CoolSculpting specialist will apply a gel pad and applicator to the targeted area. You will feel intense cold in that localized area as controlled cooling is applied, but after 5-10 minutes, the feeling dissipates as the area becomes numb.

You can read, work, watch tv or even nap while getting treated. Most sessions take about 35 minutes however, if you are treating more than one area, your appointment time will be 35 minutes per section. Although there is virtually no downtime, we recommend that you not workout or do strenuous activity immediately after your appointment, we suggest waiting until at least the following morning if possible.

Results vary per client, however, you can lose 20% – 40% of fat per every 1 CoolSculpting session.

Pros of CoolSculpting vs. Liposuction:

  • No cutting
  • No anesthesia
  • No downtime
  • Workout, clean, run, etc. the next day
  • No long- term swelling
  • No scars

DISCLAIMERS:

We will not perform CoolSculpting on anyone under 18 or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

Minimal side effects include, but are not limited to:

  • Discomfort
  • Diarrhea
  • Bruising
  • Muscle spasms
  • Firmness
  • Itchiness

Pain Management:
Ibuprofen can be taken for pain. Diarrhea is normal after treatments as your body metabolizes the fat cells.

It is best to not take medication- this is because you want the fat cells to leave your body.

Important Safety Information:
These procedures are not for everyone. You should not be treated with CoolSculpting if you suffer from the following:

  • Cryoglobulinemia
  • Cold agglutinin disease
  • Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria

Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions including recent surgery, pre-existing hernia, and any known sensitivities or allergies.

During Treatment:
During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations lessen as the area becomes numb.

Following the Procedure:
Typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment.

Rare side effects may happen in 1 to 10 out of 10,000 CoolSculpting® and CoolSculpting® Elite treatments (between 0.01% to 0.1%). One such rare side effect is a visible enlargement in the treated area, which may develop 2 to 5 months after treatment, will not resolve on its own, and may require surgical intervention for correction. Please see the above full Important Safety Information. Patient Results May Vary.
